Woodburn man arrested for attempted rape
A Woodburn man was arrested in March on multiple sex abuse charges against a minor.
Gustavo Adolfo Calderon-Villegas, 29, has been charged with third degree attempted rape, third degree sexual abuse, private indecency and delivery of a controlled substance to a minor.
According to court records, Calderon-Villegas contacted the female victim, who is under the age of 16, on March 21 in Marion County with the intention of delivering marijuana to her.
During the encounter, Calderon-Villegas exposed himself to the victim, touched her sexually and attempted to have sex with her.
Calderon-Villegas is also being charged with two counts of second degree criminal mischief in an unrelated incident that occurred on March 7 in which he damaged property at a pair of Woodburn businesses located on Highway 99E — Direct Labor and Pepper's Deli.
Delivery of a controlled substance to a minor is a Class A Felony, while the other charges are Class A Misdemeanors.
Calderon-Villegas was booked at the Marion County Jail and was released on March 25 under orders to have no contact with the victim and to return for his next court appointment on April 3 for his arraignment.
