Now a junior at Wilsonville High School, the dancer will portray many roles throughout her third show with the ballet academy.

TPB's mixed repertoire program, Current/Classic, includes Serenade by George Balanchine, Swan Lake Act II, Festival Russe by Tom Gold, Rip/Tide by the founders of BodyVox and Quinary — a brand new work by TPB Ballet Master Jason Davis, per a press release from the academy.

"I'm really excited to do another performance since I was injured and missed A Midsummer Night's Dream in November," Rodriguez said. "I'm doing so many different styles in each of the dances I'm in this year. Swan Lake is elegant and classical, in Festival Russe I get to do a little character dancing, and Quinary is in general very different from your traditional ballet, which is cool."

"I'm always looking for new things to work on and perfect," she said. "Currently, I have been paying a lot of attention to my artistry and what makes me unique as a dancer."

She doesn't have official future plans, but would love to be part of a professional company or contemporary ballet company.
