Officer reports from the Woodburn Police Department and Mount Angel Police Department

WOODBURN

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5

— 9:23 a.m.: Police responded to 1041 N. Boones Ferry Road on a report of an assault.

— 10:37 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to 2200 Country Club Trail after a theft was reported.

— 3:15 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Young and Gatch streets.

— 3:27 p.m.: Dispatchers sent officers to 1269 W. Hayes St. after receiving a report of theft.

THURSDAY, JUNE 6

— 5:48 a.m.: A vehicle was reported stolen from 1411 Thompson Road.

— 10:11 a.m.: Vandals and graffitists were reported working in the area of 230 Hayes St.

— 10:17 a.m.: A theft was reported to police at 1001 Arney Road.

— 8:47 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to 3002 Stacy Allison Way after receiving a report of a theft.

FRIDAY, JUNE 7

— 7:02 a.m.: Law enforcement was dispatched to 3545 Sweetwater Ave. to investigate an alleged theft.

— 2:26 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 962 Pana St.

— 3:16 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 1821 Jansen Way.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8

— 2:15 a.m.: Police were dispatched to 1679 N. Front St. to investigate an alleged theft, then returned three hours later on a call of a stolen vehicle.

— 9:41 a.m.: An alleged case of fraud prompted officers to respond to 2919 Tom Tennant Drive.

— 12:42 p.m.: Officers traveled to 1001 Arney Road on a reported theft.

— 1:22 p.m.: An individual was reportedly trespassing at 136 W. Cleveland St.

— 6:31 p.m.: Theft was reported at 948 Highway 99E.

— 10:50 p.m.: An alleged theft was reported at 993 Lawson Ave.

— 11:30 p.m.: A vehicle was reported stolen at 529 Settlemier Ave.

SUNDAY, JUNE 9

— 3:06 p.m.: An individual was reportedly trespassing on property at 555 Highway 99E.

— 4:37 p.m.: Officers responded to 1001 Arney Road on a reported theft, then returned 30 minutes later to investigate a report of forgery and counterfeiting.

— 11:34 p.m.: A report of menacing prompted officers to respond to 529 Settlemier Ave.

MOUNT ANGEL

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12

— 10:38 a.m.: Police responded to a report of found property on North Garfield Street. The cell phone was turned in by a citizen. The owner was located and retrieved the property.

— 6:35 p.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 4000 block of Silver Falls Drive.

— 7:01 p.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 100 block of South Sheridan Street.

— 7:50 p.m.: Police were called on to assist the public in the 200 block of South Oak Street.

— 8:17 p.m.: An extra patrol was dispatched to the 700 block of North Main Street.

— 9:34 p.m.: Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of East College Street on a report of suspicious activity. An officer observed a vehicle with the door open. The owner was notified and secured the vehicle.

— 10:18 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Hayes Street on a report of cattle loose on the roadway. The owner was located and they advised they would retrieve the animals.

THURSDAY, JUNE 13

— 12:40 a.m.: Police were called on to assist fire crews in the 100 block of East Charles Street.

— 10:57 a.m.: A vehicle was reported abandoned in the 500 block of South Main Street, a violation of city ordinances. The vehicle was tagged and later towed.

— 11:50 a.m.: Police were called on to assist the public in the 500 block of East College Street.

— 2:19 p.m.: Police were called on to assist the public Palmer and Sheridan streets.

— 2:55 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of West Marquam Street and issued a warning.

— 3:11 p.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 500 block of Railroad Avenue.

— 5:14 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Wilco Highway and Monitor/McKee Road to attempt to locate a vehicle. The vehicle was found, the driver contacted and it was determined the individual was a student driver.

— 6:27 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Main Street and cited the driver for speeding.

— 9:52 p.m.: Police conducted a foot patrol in the 800 East Marquam Street.

— 10:34 p.m.: Police conducted a foot patrol in the 100 block of North Garfield Street.

— 10:39 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported near the intersection of Mount Angel/Gervais Road and Gertner Lane. An officer observed a suspicious vehicle and contacted the driver, whose said the occupants of the vehicle were trying to decide where to eat, the report said.

FRIDAY, JUNE 14

— 12:09 a.m.: Police conducted a foot patrol in the 100 block of North Main Street.

— 12:59 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Main and Palmer streets and issued a warning.

— 1:37 p.m.: Police attempted to serve a warrant in the 1000 block of Academy Street, but were unable to locate the subject.

— 8:14 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Hazelgreen Road and Brush Creek Drive and issued a warning.

— 8:42 p.m.: Police assisted with traffic in the 300 block of Monroe Street.

— 10:22 p.m.: Police conducted an extra patrol in the 200 block of Industrial Way.

— 10:19 p.m.: Police received a complaint of "loud persons" in the 1000 block of Academy Street and investigated. They advised the individuals to quiet down for the night.

SATURDAY, JUNE 15

— 12:05 a.m.: Police conducted an extra patrol in the 200 block of Railroad Avenue.

— 1:06 a.m.: A family disturbance was reported in the 400 block of West Marquam Street. Officers responded and determined the argument was verbal in nature and the parties were separated.

— 11:31 a.m.: A citizen contacted police to say she had lost her keys in the 300 block of North Main Street and asked that officers keep an eye out for them.

— 12:18 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at East College and Main streets and issued a warning.

— 5:56 p.m.: Police conducted a foot patrol in the 700 block of North Spruce Street.

— 6:56 p.m.: Police conducted an extra patrol in the 10000 block of Mount Angel/Gervais Road.

— 7:58 p.m.: Police constructed a radar patrol in the 500 block of Alder Street.

— 10:11 p.m.: Officers were called on to attempt to locate an individual in the 100 block of South Cleveland Street, but were unable.

SUNDAY, JUNE 16

— 12:48 a.m.: Police conducted a foot patrol in the 700 block of North Spruce Street.

— 1:18 a.m.: Public assistance was requested in the 300 block of North Main Street.

— 11:16 a.m.: Police attempted to stop a vehicle near North Main Street and Industrial Way, but the driver eluded and the officer curtailed the pursuit for safety reasons. An investigation was begun.

— 3:31 p.m.: Public assistance was requested in the 400 block of East Marquam Street.

— 5:30 p.m.: Police received a complaint of a dog running at large in the 400 block of North Sheridan Street. "The complainant screamed when the dog approached and the dog returned home," the report said, adding that officers contacted the dog's owners and warned them.

— 6:18 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Wilco Highway and Dominic Road and issued a citation for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance.

— 6:43 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Marion Court to locate an individual, but were unable.

— 6:45 p.m.: Police were dispatched to a civil situation in the 400 block of Alder Street.

— 8 p.m.: A citizen requested officers trespass an individual from their residence in the 200 block of Clement Street.

— 9:08 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Otto Street on a civil situation.

MONDAY, JUNE 17

— 12:13 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at East Church and Garfield streets and issued a citation for failure to carry proof of insurance.

— 2:29 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Wilco Highway and Hook Road and issued a warning.

— 4:58 p.m.: A burglar alarm sounded in the 500 block of East College Street, but was determined to be false and an authorized cancellation was received.

— 5:20 p.m.: Police were dispatched to an alleged ordinance violation in the 500 block of North Sheridan Street. A warning was meted regarding excessive noise.

— 6:18 p.m.: Police conducted a bar/tavern check in the 100 block of North Main Street.

— 9:22 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at East Marquam and North Sheridan streets and issued a warning.

— 9:40 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Baron Road and Mount Angel/Gervais roads and issued a citation for driving uninsured and no operator's license.

TUESDAY, JUNE 18

— 10:41 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Wilco Highway and Dominic Road and issued a citation for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance.

— 11:07 a.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 10000 block of Marquam Road.

— 11:37 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Main Street and issued a citation for no operator's license.

— 5:13 p.m.: An ordinance violation was reported in the 300 block of South Pershing Street concerning vegetation.

— 5:58 p.m.: An ordinance violation was reported in the 800 block of Academy Street regarding tall grass.

—10:54 p.m.: A family disturbance was reported in the 800 block of North Pershing Street. Officers responded and determined the fracas was verbal in nature and the parties were separated.
