Woodburn City Council establishes and seeks members for the Community Center Citizens Advisory Committee

The Woodburn City Council has determined that the establishment of a Community Center Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) will benefit the community center design process by providing for transparency and continued public input.

In its efforts to assist the City with the community center architectural and engineering work, the CAC will review the design and provide feedback to staff, the design team and the City Council, in order to ensure that:

--The physical appearance of the community center is attractive as would be expected for a landmark civic building;

--The facility is designed to include the active and passive recreation opportunities desired by the community;

--The facility provides spaces designed to serve people of all ages and abilities

--The design of the community center provides for safe,  functional, sustainable and efficient operation;

--Desired improvements to the existing aquatic center are included in the project.

Those interested in applying for the CAC may do so by filling out this application form and submitting it to: Jim Row, Assistant City Administrator, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
