Suspects sought in Markum Inn break in
Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation of a break in at Markum Inn, and police are hoping the public can help.
The Inn, located at 36903 Hwy. 13 in Marquam, was burglarized around Sept. 16 when the establishment's tenders contacted the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office to report that someone pried open a door to gain illegal entry.
Surveillance video shows as many as three suspects entering the inn, and the report noted that the suspects then pried open an ATM cash machine inside and stole a safe using a wagon from the business. The wagon was later recovered.
CCSO reports that the video indicates the burglary occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. Sunday evening, Sept. 15, and 3 a.m. Monday morning, Sept. 16.
