The first pick up was Saturday, Nov. 16, according to project chair Jim Jaggers.

"We have 18-20 boxes out and plan the final pick up the first weekend of December," Jaggers said. "We will be assembling boxes for the families in the communities of Woodburn, Hubbard, Aurora and Donald on Dec. 10 following the food collection by our fire districts."

Love Santa has served northern Marion County for several years. Jaggers reported a larger number of families have signed up, so the need has increased for this year.

"I want to thank Mrs. McGillicut's fifth-grade class at North Marion Intermediate School for once again decorating the boxes," he said.
