Woodburn Kiwanis Club is hosting an event to raise funds in supporty of a variety of area youth causes

PMG FILE PHOTO - Woodburn Kiwanis new event will benefit a variety of youth causes.The Woodburn Kiwanis Club is hosting Casino Night, a fundraising event for youth of the communities of Woodburn, North Marion and Gervais school districts. 

Doors open for the event at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Woodburn Eagles Lodge, 371 S. Pacific Highway. A prime rib dinner will be served, while activities include a silent auction, 3-card poker, black jack, craps, roulette, spin the week and Texas holdem. Cost is $20, which includes $500 of script or funny money.

Proceeds from the event will support swim lessons, school supplies for 5th grade students, middle school Teriffic Kids, high school Key Club, Cub Scout Pack No. 624 and scholarships.
