Sheriff's office investigates shooting
Marion County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating a three-way shooting in Salem that left a Woodburn man dead.
A SWAT team arrived at the east-Salem scene shortly after 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21. In the vicinity of Snoopy Land and Linus Court NE, they discovered that three people had received gunshot wounds, including Eduardo Flores Rodriguez, 21, of Woodburn, who succumbed to his wound.
Deputies said Flores Rodrigues was in a Chrysler 300 and had been shot in the head. He died at a local hospital on Jan. 23.
MCSO Sgt. Jeremy Landers said the Sheriff's office SWAT team and investigators served a search warrant at a residence on Snoopy Court, not far from where the shooting took place, but no arrests in connection with the shooting have been made.
Investigators request that anyone who may have information about the shooting to contact MCSO's non-emergency dispatch, 503-588-5032, or to submit an anonymous tip online at MCSO site, co.marion.or.us/SO.
Rodriquez's survivors include a one-year-old son. A Go Fund Me page has been established for his family.
