OSU Master Gardener program offering free online training
With disruptions in the global food chain due to the COVID-19 epidemic, interest in home gardening is resurging as a way to have direct control over access to fresh foods.
Oregon State University's Master Gardener series of webinars aims to assist gardeners with "how-to" tips and sound gardening guidance. Presented by both OSU Extension faculty and Master Gardener volunteers, the webinars can be viewed at leisure, in the comfort of your home or your garden. Check back weekly, for the latest webinars: https://beav.es/4hK
OSU Extension Service is also offering its online Vegetable Gardening course (part of the Master Gardener Short Course Series) for free.
This course is normally $45 but OSU is waving the fee through May 27. The series consists of 12 courses, each focusing on garden fundamentals to support growing a thriving, sustainable garden. To see the entire course schedule and to register for the free Vegetable Gardening course visit: https://beav.es/4fU
