WOODBURN POLICE - Suspect is seen on surveillance video breaking a window, stealing a display case of knives and fleeing in a Dodge Durango.Woodburn Police are seeking a suspect involved in a burglary at Long Bros. Building Supply in the 100 block of Birds Eye Avenue.

Police said video footage reveals that at about 11 p.m. May 23 a male subject threw a rock through a glass door of the building and subsequently entered the building, headed directly for a Benchmade knife display case, then exited carrying the case of knives.

According to a Facebook post from Kelly Long, the theft appeared to be targeted.

"The parties involved knew exactly what they wanted and were in and out of the store in 10 seconds and stole $6,000 in Benchmade Knives," she wrote on May 26.

Police describe the suspect as a tall, slender male, wearing a black jacket, tan pants and a light-colored cloth over his face. The suspect left in a light-colored Dodge Durango, body type estimated to be between 1997-2009, with aftermarket chrome rims. The vehicle had no front license plate and a long tow-hitch attached to the rear of it.
