Police are seeking information in the death of a Hubbard woman who was found injured in Wilsonville early Sunday morning

Wilsonville Police and Clackamas County Sheriff's Office are investigating the early Sunday morning death of a Hubbard woman.COURTESY OF CLACKAMAS COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE - Kristi Dumont was found injured in Wilsonville and succumbed to those injuries described by police as blunt force trauma.

CCSO Sgt. Marcus Mendoza said police responded to a welfare check in the area of SW Town Center Loop West and SW Wilsonville Road shortly after midnight on July 12. They found Kristi L. Dumont, 38, of Hubbard, suffering from severe injuries.

Paramedics from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and American Medical Response also responded to the scene, and Dumont was transported to an area hospital where she succumbed to the injuries.

Investigators describe the injuries as resulting from blunt force trauma.

Mendoza said detectives from the CCSO and Wilsonville Police are investigating the fatal incident.

"Detectives would like to speak with anyone who may have seen or had contact with Dumont (Saturday) night," Mendoza noted. "She was known to frequent the city of Wilsonville, and had been seen around the SW Town Center Loop area in Wilsonville last night (Saturday, July 11)."
