Isidro P. Aguilera Jr. apprehended in Wilsonville Sunday after being sought by Woodburn police on second-degree murder charge

A suspect in the Sept. 5 shooting death of a Woodburn man was arrested by Wilsonville police on Sunday.

Aguilera Jr. was transported to Marion County Jail after he was arrested in Wilsonville Sunday in connection to the homicide of 27-year old Woodburn resident Javier Montes-Reyes on Sept. 5.Isidro P. Aguilera Jr., 38, was wanted by Woodburn police on a second-degree murder charge in connection to the homicide of 27-year old Javier Montes-Reyes, who was found dead from a gunshot wound at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 5 on the 200 block of Oswald Street in Woodburn.

Police are asking anyone with information about Aguilar's whereabouts between Sept. 5 and Sunday to call 503-982-2345.
