Woodburn Police share a video recording of a suspect snatching a package from a porch at a Hardcastle Avenue residence

COURTESY PHOTO: WOODBURN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Footage from the home shows someone ride up on a BMX style bicycle and ride off with delivered goods, the packages for which were located in nearby Legion Park.A video camera showed a person on a bicycle pilfering a package from the front porch of a Woodburn residence, and police want to know if anyone recognizes the suspect.

Woodburn Police Department is seeking assistance identifying a suspect of porch theft in the 1100 block of Hardcastle Avenue at around 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4. The empty package was discovered nearby in Legion Park.

Police shared a video of the incident, and say the suspect appears to be a male between the ages of 20 to 30 and about 5-foot-4-inches to 5-foot-6-inches. He was wearing a dark brown jacket with a black hood and black shoulders, as well as black jeans and riding a black BMX style bicycle towards Legion Park.
