Woodburn medical center announced the addition of mental health professional Annika Johnson Campbell

Campbell earned a doctor of clinical psychology degree with an emphasis in health psychology, completing her degree at the Graduate School of Clinical Psychology at George Fox University in Newberg, according Amber Betts, spokeswoman for Yakima Valley Farmworkers Clinic, the parent company of Salud.

Betts added that Campbell pursued a career in psychology because of her interest in the connection between mental and physical health.

"She's most excited about collaborating with other care professionals to assist in meeting the many needs patients come in with," Betts said.

Campbell will work as a psychologist resident under the supervision of licensed psychologist Lola White.
