North Marion School District will offer free math, English courses for middle-school students.

The deadline to register is June 16.North Marion School District announced that two Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Summer Bridge classes will be offered to North Marion Middle School students this year: Math 7 and English Language Development.

These college and career prep classes are free to attend and transportation and meals (breakfast and lunch) will be provided at no cost. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, June 16.

Math 7 AVID Summer Bridge is open to seventh-grade students and eligible sixth-grade students on grade-level in math; staff will check iReady scores. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug. 2-20.

English Language Development AVID Summer Bridge will be open to Grades 6 through 8. Classes will be 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug 2-27.
