A 1974 graduate of the business school who played on the basketball team, Stoller went on to co-found Express Employment Professionals, one of the largest staffing companies in the world with more than 800 offices.

In the 1990s, Stoller got into the wine business, becoming a co-owner of Chehalem Winery and taking over his family's farm near Dayton. Stoller's wineries also participate in the ¡Salud! program, which provides on-site healthcare for seasonal vineyard workers and their families in collaboration with Pacific's College of Health Professionals.

According to a news release, Stoller previously served a Pacific University's board chair and has donated over $5 million to the university. The athletic center on campus in Forest Grove is named after his family.
