Several area letter writers share their views with the Woodburn Independent

To the Editor,

I am writing to encourage your voters to vote for Tracy Cramer on November 8th. Tracy understands that alternatives to public education must be allowed to flourish. When Kate Brown shut down our schools during COVID-19 Tracy started a co-op with other moms.

Meanwhile her opponent Anthony Media took away educational options by voting against school choice as the chair of the Woodburn school district. If you want parents to have more say on their child's education then the choice is clear, vote Tracy Cramer for State Representative.

I support Tracy Cramer to represent us in Woodburn, N. Salem, Brooks, & Gervais.

Tracy was born and raised in Gervais and is now raising her three kids here along with running a small business.

The rising crime & cost of living are important issues for me. Tracy is endorsed by key law enforcement groups and individuals like me; she will back the blue and bring back cops on campus to protect our kids. Her opponent is closely tied to groups that removed cops from protecting our kids on campus.

Tracy Cramer will cut taxes and fees to make life more affordable. Meanwhile her opponent Anthony Medina a political activist and campaigned in support of a local property tax increase that was shot down by voters.

Our district needs a change, Anthony Medina offers no change and is part of the problem. I urge you to please vote for Tracy Cramer, a problem solver not a politician.

A few reasons why I am voting for Tracy Cramer.

She takes public safety seriously, wanting to fund the police and keep school resources officers in schools. She cares about children not only for their safety at school but also for giving parents the option of school choice. We need a new voice in the Oregon Senate. We need someone that will put the community first. Tracy has spent many hours meeting people in the community listening to people and finding out more about what people are concerned about. If you want a change in how this state is being run, then vote for Tracy Cramer!
