Woodburn Kiwanis Club honors three from French Prairie Middle School this month

Her favorite classes are reading and social studies.

Her future goal is to become an immigration lawyer.

Her teacher, Mrs. Hanlon, wrote: "Liliana is a model Spartan. She is respectful, responsible and safe at all times, but more than that, she is kind and helpful to others. She is a gifted and observant student."

His favorite classes and activities are band, science and recess.

His future goals are to go to college after high school and get a job that he likes.

His teacher, Mr. Bolanos, wrote: "(Anthony is) always on time, very respectful and a hard worker. (He is) very helpful and willing to help other students."

Manuel Ponce

His favorite classes are math, PE and science.

His future goals are to get a good job that pays well so he can help his family with bills.

His teacher, Mrs. Waage, wrote, "Manuel is a respectful student who goes out of his way to be helpful. He seeks to understand new ideas rather than to finish work. He is a student anyone would be lucky to have in class."
