Valor Middle School honored three students as Kiwanis Terrific Kids for November

She loves her social studies class. She loves learning about the past. When she is not in school she does gymnastics and plays basketball. The Blazers are her favorite team.

She would like to travel to New York City. She has always seen it on TV and movies and would like to see it in person.

She wants to go to college and study to be a pediatrician.

Her teacher, Mr. Felix, said she has a great attitude and knows what is needed to be successful.

Georgy Kalugin

Georgy KaluginGeorgy Kalugin, son of George and Noelia Kalugin, is in seventh grade.

He loves math class and thinks it is fun. He enjoys solving problems. He also plays basketball.

If he could travel anywhere, he would like to travel to California because he likes hot weather.

His future goal is to go to Stanford and get a good job.

His math teacher, Mrs. Bruce, said that Georgy "is kind, hardworking and helpful. he always has a smile on his face. He tries to help friends when they are struggling in math. He makes good choices when he knows it will impact the learning of others."

Karina Gridinar

Karina GridinarKarina Gridinar, daughter of Valentin and Vita Gridinar, is in eighth grade.

She loves her band class because she loves to play music. She plays the clarinet and also plays in her church band. She also enjoys her Spanish class because of all the fun activities. She plays basketball and practices her instrument in her free time.

If she could travel anywhere she would like to travel to Hawaii to see the beaches.

She wants to go to college and become an ER nurse where all the action is.

Her science teacher said she works well with others and is driven to be successful.
