With back-to-back victories, the Huskies have jumped to No. 3 in the 4A OSAA rankings

ANNA ILIYN - The North Marion Huskies stand at center court of the Moda Center on Friday.The North Marion boys basketball team got the opportunity to play at the home of the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday when they took on the Tillamook Cheesemakers at the Moda Center.

Led by 24 points from junior guard Sergio Jimenez, the Huskies scored a 67-52 victory for their third victory in their last four games. Griffin Henry and Jared Hauser each scored 11 points in the win, which bumped the Huskies (3-2) up to No. 3 in the OSAA 4A rankings.

North Marion opened the week with a 69-57 win at Valley Catholic on Dec. 11. Four Huskies scored in double figures in the win, led by 19 from Jimenez, followed by Henry (16), Brady Hansen (15) and Hauser (13).

Hauser added five assists and six rebounds in the win, while Johnny Page chipped in a team-high eight rebounds. Henry and Hansen scored three 3-pointers each, as the Huskies went 9-for-15 from long range.

The Huskies were scheduled to host the Estacada Rangers on Tuesday followed by North Marion's home holiday tournament on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
