Track and Field

Gervais's track and field title aspirations will be represented by three athletes. Junior Izzy Boyd will be competing at the 2A state championships after qualifying in the shot put and triple jump, claiming third place in both events.

Younger sister Olivia Boyd will be the top seed in the 100-meter hurdles at the state event. The sophomore not only won the district championship in the event, but posted the fastest time in the state with a 16.57 second mark. Boyd also will compete in the high jump after claiming second at the district meet.
