Cascade Park, a senior retirement community in Woodburn, has announced that Todd Whitehead is its new executive director.
"Todd comes to us with years of experience in senior living and excels in team leadership," said Renee Brooks, regional director of operations for Cascade Park's parent company, Century Park Associates, in a press release. "He is a hands-on manager and has quickly established many relationships with associates and residents."
"It's a very nice building, and the people are great," said Whitehead in the release. "I enjoy being able to serve the residents."
Whitehead comes to Cascade Park from Cedar Crest Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Tualatin, where he served as administrator for three years. Prior to that appointment, he was an administrator at two senior living centers run by Regency Pacific in Hermiston. He has approximately 10 years of experience in senior living. He previously served for 16 years in the U.S. Army.
Originally from Murfreesboro, Tenn., Whitehead earned his bachelor's degree in health sciences from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. He currently resides in Tualatin with his wife, Lee. They have two grown daughters.
