The Pamplin Media Group is again the presenting sponsor of the 2019 Portland International Auto Show.
Pamplin Media, owned locally by Dr. Robert B. Pamplin Jr., has partnered with the Metro Portland New Car Dealers Association to not only promote Oregon's largest indoor event but to educate its readership about the important economic roll that local new car dealers play in driving Oregon's economy. In 2018, more than 27,000 people were employed by Oregon's new car dealers.
The Portland International Auto Show attracts more than 100,000 people to a four-day show held yearly at the Oregon Convention Center. In support of the event, Pamplin Media produced two newspaper special sections totaling 80 pages and the show's Official Buyers Guide and souvenir magazine totaling 148 pages. These products, plus another $100,000 in multi-media marketing, were provided by Pamplin Media to help support Oregon's new car dealers.
