Lithia Subaru supports the Oregon Humane Society
Lithia Subaru of Oregon City donated $51,080 to the Oregon Humane Society as part of the annual "Share the Love" fundraising event.
This year's donation is the largest from the event since OHS was first selected as one of the local participating charities.
"This year's total was an absolute record — a testament to our staff and customer commitment to OHS," said Ryan Vaughan, General Sales Manager, Lithia Subaru of Oregon City.
"We are so grateful to Lithia Subaru of Oregon City for this generous donation," said Sharon Harmon, OHS president and CEO. "These funds will provide medical care, behavior support and other services to pets in need."
The donation was presented at a recent ceremony.
This year's event ran from Nov. 15, 2018, to Jan. 2, 2019. During that time, $250 was donated for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased. This was the 11th year for the campaign which is expected to bring $140 million to local and national charities.
