VW Atlas Adventure Concept headed for Auto Show
Volkswagen is sending its Atlas Adventure Concept to the 2020 Portland International Auto Show.
Built by the Volkswagen Innovation and Engineering Center in California, the concept version of VW's all-new mid-size crossover SUV was first unveiled at the 2019 SEMA Auto Show. It has a customized orange wrap and is heavily modified for serious off-road use and camping.
Additional equipment includes all-wheel-drive, Baja Design lighting, H&R Adventure Line coilovers accented fender flares from Air Design USA to make room for large Yokohama off-road tires, and a fold-over rooftop tent from Overland Equipment.
The Atlas Adventure Concept even comes with a DJI Mavic drone with a live-streamed REVL camera to check out the surrounding terrain.
The 2020 Portland International Auto Show runs Thursday through Sunday, Jan. 20 to 23, at the Oregon Convention Center. For more information, visit https://portlandautoshow.com.
