Organizers of the 2020 Portland International Auto Show have announced three special vehicles that will be on display.
One is the Lexus LFA, a $400,000 two-seater supercar powered by a 4.8-liter V10 that produces 553 horsepower. It is the second model in the F marque line of performance vehicles from Lexus, the luxury brand of Toyota. The first was the IS F.
The second is a pre-production version of the new Land Rover Defender. It is a rugged off-road vehicle designed to evoke memories of the original version, with modern touches like a standard turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The third is the next generation of the performance version of the MINI, John Cooper Work GP. It boasts over 300 orsepower and will hit 60 miles per hour in under five seconds.
The Auto Show runs Thursday to Sunday, Feb. 20 to 23, at the Oregon Convention Center. For more information, go to portlandautoshow.com.
