Volkswagen will be offering free test drives of its all-new ID.4 all-electric SUV at Bridgeport Village from June 16 to 20.
Reservations must be made in advance here.
Volkswagen intends the ID.4 to be a mass produced EV "for the millions not the millionaires," according to the company's advertising. It debuted in Europe in late 2020 and was elected World Car of the Year 2021 over runner-ups Honda e and Toyota Yaris.
The ID.4 has an advertised range of up to 260 miles on a full charge. It starts at $39,995 and qualifies for a $7,500 federal tax credit and up to $5,000 in Oregon rebates.
All ID.4 models will originally be offered as rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive models will join the lineup later in 2021. It is the first in a series of all-electric models that will combine to create the ID sub-brand within Volkswagen.
Bridgeport Village is located off I-5 exit 290 at 7455 Bridgeport Rd., Tigard.
