Williamette Primary students raise money for school

“I encourage you to eat a good breakfast and tie your shoelaces up tightly,” Pryor said.

Organized by the school’s parent-teacher group, the run is a fundraiser. Students and their families received pledge envelopes before the event and were encouraged to seek either flat or per-lap donations.

The day of the run, each class spent 20 minutes running laps in the gym to raise money for their school. It’s a low-cost event that allows the majority of money raised to go back into the school community.
