Celebrate the opening of Family Inspired Recovery Center, an Alternative Peer Group for youth

Recovery center hosts celebration

In an effort to support youth struggling with Substance Use Disorder, Pam Pearce — a founder of Community Living Above — opened a recovery center for youth in West Linn. The opening celebration of the Family Inspired Recovery Center, an Alternative Peer Group for adolescents and their families, will be from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. The center is housed at the West Linn Lutheran Church, 20390 Willamette Drive.

There will be several speakers including John Cates, industry leader for APG, local therapist Donny Write and a family who will share their personal story.

Since FIR is a nonprofit organization, funds raised during the event will go toward ensuring all who need the support receive it.
