Arts and Technology High School gets new principal
Nic Chapin will take on his new role as the principal of Arts and Technology High School this summer.
In a news release to the community, West Linn-Wilsonville School District Assistant Superintendent Aaron Downs wrote that Chapin was chosen from a highly qualified group of candidates. Through multiple rounds of interviews, Chapin stood out as the top candidate.
Downs wrote that Chapin highlighted throughout his interview process the importance of collaborating with the district's other high schools and his excitement about working with existing and new students and staff.
Previously, Chapin served as the executive director of Three Rivers Charter School. Prior to that he was the executive director of Alliance Charter Academy.
