COVID-19 hits Willamette Primary
As coronavirus cases across the state and country continue to climb in the latest resurgence, the virus has made its way to Willamette Primary School in West Linn.
An email from Principal Patrick Minor to Willamette families sent Thursday afternoon announced the cancellation of a planned supply pickup and Trunk-or-Treat event for the following day.
West Linn-Wilsonville Communications Director Andrew Kilstrom said, due to privacy concerns, he could not comment on the number of cases or whether they were among students, staff or both.
Kilstrom added that the school was following all protocols from Clackamas County Health Department and would be canceling limited in-person learning for 14 days.
