ARRESTS

2/27 7:21 p.m. A 34-year-old man was lodged at Multnomah County Jail on West Linn warrants for suspicion of possession of a restricted weapon, failure to appear on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon, failure to appear on citation and failure to appear on failure to appear.

LIFE IN WEST LINN

2/24 12:32 p.m. A man was offering "honeybird poop" candy to girls near the 19100 block of Willamette Drive. When contacted by police, he said he didn't know this was wrong.

2/24 12:50 p.m. A man said he was arrested for DUI about a year ago and wanted to speak with an officer about the court system.

2/24 3:07 p.m. A suspicious looking vehicle that may have been stolen was seen near the 1800 block of Blankenship Road. It was not stolen, just broken down.

2/24 5:27 p.m. A caller said drumming sounds had been coming from a church for 3 hours. An officer determined this was unfounded.

2/24 6:07 p.m. A resident found drug paraphernalia in a restroom near the 22000 block of Willamette Drive.

2/25 6:12 a.m. A suspicious looking vehicle was seen near the 400 block of Marylhurst Drive.

2/26 7:49 a.m. A suspicious looking vehicle was seen near the 18700 block of Nixon Avenue.

2/26 7:57 a.m. A vehicle was "rummaged through" overnight near the 2300 block of Willamette Falls Drive.

2/26 8:07 p.m. Two suspicious looking vehicles were parked facing someone's house with their lights on near the 6700 block of Larson Avenue.

2/26 8:37 p.m. A bartender asked for police to check on a patron at the West Linn Saloon.

2/27 11:04 a.m. A caller was concerned about a squirrel that was acting strangely.

3/1 7:48 a.m. A caller said someone pulled into her driveway behind her and asked for an address, which made her uncomfortable.

3/1 11:32 a.m. Harassment was reported.

3/1 3:31 p.m. Juveniles were skateboarding at a park and running their boards into metal poles near Kapteyns Street and Valley View Drive.

3/1 4:40 p.m. A suspicious looking person who appeared to be intoxicated was seen near the 4700 block of Fallsview Avenue.

3/1 4:50 p.m. A caller reported an ongoing problem with two teens hanging out at a vacant house near the 1700 block of Blankenship Road.

3/1 8:53 p.m. A caller said carpet cleaners at the library were being loud.

FRAUD

2/27 1:05 p.m. A caller reported an IRS scam call.

2/27 1:09 p.m. Identification theft was reported.

ACCIDENTS

2/24 6:34 a.m. An accident was reported at a rest area near Interstate 205. It was unknown if there were injuries.

2/24 1:45 p.m. Two vehicles collided near Interstate 205 and Highway 43. No one was injured.

2/27 2:55 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported near Cedaroak Drive and Willamette Drive.

2/28 12:32 a.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported near Sunset Avenue and Sussex Street. No one was injured.

3/1 2:56 p.m. Two vehicles collided near Interstate 205 and Highway 43. No one was injured.

THEFT

2/24 3:07 p.m. Checks were stolen near the 6000 block of Skyline Drive.

2/26 8:14 p.m. Registration was stolen from a vehicle near the 2200 block of 5th Avenue.

2/27 4:59 p.m. A hunting knife was stolen from a vehicle near the 1400 block of Skye Parkway.

3/1 6:35 a.m. A burglary was reported near the 1700 block of Blankenship Road.

3/1 8:02 a.m. Tools were stolen from an unlocked truck near the 22000 block of Rosemont Ridge Court.

3/1 8:21 a.m. A theft was reported near the 22600 block of West Bluff Drive.
