Opening the canopy at White Oak Savanna
Three different crews of arborists and more than 70 hours of work later, the White Oak Savanna Nature Park in West Linn was the beneficiary of a 'haircut' of nearly three dozen invasive cottonwood trees.
Crews from Morton's Trees, Bartlett Tree Experts and Tree Care Unlimited cut and chipped the trees, which are not native to the park's riparian area.
