LIFE IN WEST LINN

7/21 10:33 a.m. A caller was concerned after noticing a car driving down a trail with its hazard lights on near the 19900 block of Willamette Drive.

7/21 4:58 p.m. A suspicious looking vehicle had been parked "for a while" and possibly had people sleeping in it near the 1500 block of Burns Street.

7/21 8:24 p.m. A caller said someone was throwing nicotine gum at the Old Time Fair parade.

7/21 9:50 p.m. Kids were throwing eggs at cars near Willamette Falls Drive and Britton Street.

7/22 1:32 p.m. Someone was passed out by the horseshoe pits at the Old Time Fair.

7/22 6:08 p.m. A caller said someone followed his son while he was walking the dog near the 21300 block of Horton Court.

7/22 7:57 p.m. Kids were having a loud pool party that may have involved alcohol near the 400 block of Springtree Lane.

7/23 10:04 a.m. A man said he received a letter from the IRS "demanding certain things."

7/23 10:56 a.m. A one-person tent and a chair were seen near the 20000 block of Salamo Road.

7/23 12:27 p.m. A caller said her ex-boyfriend threw something at her car and shattered a window.

7/23 3:24 p.m. Someone was trying to fill a bad prescription near the 5600 block of Hood Street.

7/23 4:57 p.m. People seemed to be camping in an RV near Troy Court and Tamarisk Drive, and residents had seen naked people through the windows.

7/23 7:56 p.m. A caller said his neighbor was "ranting and raving" in his yard, saying "I'm gonna break your arms and legs." This had been an issue for 2 years.

7/24 2:44 p.m. Juveniles trespassed at a pool overnight near the 6200 block of Club House Circle and posted on social media about it.

7/25 5:22 p.m. A caller said she confronted someone who was parked in a no parking zone and the person took a picture of her and scared her.

7/25 8:59 p.m. Three teens on a motorbike were "driving crazy" near Rosemont Road and Santa Anita Drive.

7/25 9:36 p.m. A caller said she arrived home to find her ex-husband at her apartment complex.

7/26 7:44 a.m. A man who "looks odd" was seen going in and out of a van near 12th Street and Willamette Falls Drive.

7/26 9:20 a.m. A home was egged near the 3000 block of Kensington Court.

7/26 4:16 p.m. Someone was "smoking something" in a car near the 1600 block of Village Park Place.

7/27 10:29 a.m. A caller said his neighbor was cutting trees and the branches were falling in his yard. He yelled at the neighbor, but they couldn't hear him over the saw.

7/27 4:26 p.m. A caller wished to learn more about motorcycle laws, feeling that the vehicles were too loud.

7/27 8:39 p.m. A caller said a solicitor was yelling at her because she left her dog in the car.

7/27 9:25 p.m. A caller believed young people were going to smoke marijuana in a park near the 1900 block of Hall Street.

7/27 10:14 p.m. A suspicious looking car "looked out of place" near the 2200 block of Brandon Place.

ACCIDENTS

7/23 11:51 a.m. An accident was reported near Davenport Street and Buck Street. No one was injured.

7/24 3:51 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported near Sunset Avenue and Willamette Falls Drive. No one was injured.

7/24 4:03 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported near the 21000 block of Salamo Road. No one was injured.

7/25 11:51 a.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported near the 1900 block of Willamette Falls Drive. No one was injured.

7/25 3:01 p.m. An accident was reported near the 1600 block of 10th Street. No one was injured.

7/27 12:11 p.m. An accident was reported near the 2100 block of 8th Court. No one was injured.

FRAUD

7/25 9:54 a.m. A man's Social Security number was used to open an AT&T account.

7/25 10:41 a.m. A caller said she was notified that someone tried to open an account in her name.

7/25 11:55 a.m. A caller said he was scammed out of $800 on the Internet.

7/26 3:48 p.m. A lawyer said he'd heard from 12 people saying they were "in collections" for a lawsuit and asked to pay money or give their Social Security number.

7/27 3:13 p.m. People with stolen identification tried to cash checks at a bank.

THEFT

7/21 10:58 a.m. Items were reported stolen from a vehicle near the 2800 block of Polo Court.

7/21 12:26 p.m. A garage door opener and sunglasses were reported stolen from a vehicle near the 19900 block of Derby Street.

7/21 5:20 p.m. A pick-pocketer stole $350 and a credit card from someone near the 1100 block of 12th Street.

7/22 7:02 a.m. A vehicle was reported stolen near the 6300 block of Caufield Street.

7/22 8:52 a.m. An empty ATM machine was stolen near the 1100 block of 12th Street.

7/24 1:45 p.m. The possible theft of a diamond necklace was reported near the 19300 block of Nixon Avenue.

7/24 2:22 p.m. A possible theft from a home was reported near the 1800 block of Churchill Terrace.

7/25 2:05 p.m. A purse was stolen from a car near the 1100 block of 12th Street.

7/26 8:23 a.m. Dry cleaning was reported stolen from a porch near the 2400 block of Remington Drive.

7/27 11:53 a.m. A caller said $30,000 worth of items were stolen from her home last August.
