In preparation for a Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration that will be held Nov. 2 at Clackamas Community College, the West Linn Alliance for Inclusive Community (WLAIC) gathered for a piñata-making party at the West Linn Public Library Aug. 15. The hope is to have about 200 piñata 'skulls' at the Nov. 2 event, and other organizations have hosted similar parties in Canby and Oregon City.
