Otto was named King of the 2019 Rose Festival Canine Court at Wednesday's pageant

COURTESY PHOTO:  - Otto the Leonberger won King of the Rose Festival Canine Court Wednesday, May 22. Fancy, a pomeraninan mix was named queen. Otto the Leonberger, known around West Linn as a gentle giant, will now be known in the Portland metro area as a king. The three-year-old pup was crowned King of the 2019 Rose Festival Canine Court Wednesday evening.

Otto is beloved around West Linn for cuddles and story-listening skills. The giant, furry dog can often be found at the West Linn Public Library or local schools reading with young readers.

A Pomeranian mix named Fancy was crowned Queen of the court.

The royals will partcipate in the Rose Festival Starlight parade June 1.
