The West Linn Lavender Girls hosted a sale to raise money for the Children's Cancer Association

Bria is a West Linn resident who saw the event on social media and decided to visit. In an effort to help children struggling with cancer and other serious illness, local girls decided to give back. The Lavender Girls is a group of eight West Linn High School and Athey Creek and Rosemont Ridge middle school students who created and sold lavender-themed gifts at their annual sale Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 17-18. They sold items including bundles of lavender, jewelry, desserts and bath products.
