An Estacada resident died after a West Linn teen lost control of her SUV on Highway 224 Wednesday night.

Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the two vehicle crash Aug. 21 between Barton and Carver around 8:35 p.m. Cecilia Reid, an 18-year-old 2019 West Linn High School graduate, was traveling westbound when she lost control of her 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer while navigating a curve on wet pavement. She did not sustain serious injuries.

Reid collided with 74-year-old Margaret White, of Estacada, who was operating a 2015 Subaru Forester. White was later transported to the Oregon Health and Science University and pronounced dead.
