If you didn't know, here's a look at what's going on in and around West Linn in the near future

Mon, Oct. 7: West Linn's City Council is holding a work session 6 p.m. at city hall. The council will receive an update about plans for developing West Linn's Willamette River waterfront. The council will also discuss the possibility of adopting the Parks and Recreation master plan at a meeting Oct. 14 as well as funding for the Arts and Culture Commission. A previous proposal for this funding was to draw from the public works fund, which would divert $100,000 from street, water, sanitary and sewer funds each year. Another proposal recommends adding an "arts" section to the project budget rather than drawing art money from public works money already budgeted, though it is still up to the council which proposal, if either, to approve. For more information on the agenda items, view the agenda here .
