With cool but dry weather, Halloween trick-or-treaters didn't hold back from invading local neighborhoods in search of treats

West Linn's Faces of HalloweenThe 2019 Halloween season will go down as one of those rare holidays where it didn't rain on All Hallows Eve.

Even though the weather was cool, it still made for great trick-or-treating for young and old alike.

Reports were that turnout was strong in Willamette for their annual trick-or-treat the merchants event. How this might have affected West Linn neighborhoods is not known but turnout in the Hidden Springs Neighborhood was greater then usual.

A random sampling of Halloween goodie bags showed signs of families running out of candy and resorting to passing out apple sauce packets and fruit snacks. One family even resorted to passing out individual packaged cookies from the Honolulu Cookie Company - a pretty sweet treat for cookie aficionados!

Check out our slide show of some the trick-or-treaters who may have visited your neighborhood. Enjoy!
