Library program ignites imagination in West Linn kids
The West Linn Public Library launched its partnership with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Friday, Oct. 1.
The program, started by the famous country singer, gives free books every month to children from birth to age 5 in participating communities.
Towns across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and the Republic of Ireland participate in the book-giving program.
The West Linn library kicked off its participation in the program with a show from Penny's Puppets, featuring a forgetful Mother Goose. The program is sponsored by the West Linn Library Foundation.
