Much was lost for the outgoing West Linn High School class of 2020: valuable class time, spring activities and sports, prom and an official "last day" of school, to name just a few.
But they did get a graduation, even if it was a bit unusual in the era of COVID-19.
The West Linn-Wilsonville School District held a drive-through ceremony at the high school Tuesday, June 2, with seniors individually walking across an outdoor stage to receive their diplomas.
Families were encouraged to "lionize" their vehicles and a DJ was on hand to keep things lively.
Stay tuned for a full commemorative graduation section in an upcoming edition of the Tidings!
