Burglars made off with the victim's car and other goods after Tuesday morning robbery

After holding victims at bay with a weapon, burglars left a West Linn home with several items from that home as well as one of the victim's cars early Tuesday morning.

West Linn police responded to a call about the robbery, which took place in the 5000 block of Prospect Street, at 1:50 a.m. July 28.

According to a WLPD press release, the residents of the home were unharmed and called police after the suspects left. Public Information Officer Jeff Halverson said he could not give further information on how many suspects were involved or the type of weapon used.

Detectives are working with the victims and believe there is no further threat to the public.

The stolen vehicle was a grey 2001 Toyota Camry, license plate 619KJZ. Police ask anyone who may have information on the case to call 503-742-6134 and reference case #20-5228.
