Building Bridges and city of West Linn to host fair Saturday, Sept. 25 at Willamette Park.

Building Bridges of West Linn, a group of Black, Indigenous and people of color community leaders, and the city of West Linn will together host a cultural fair in West Linn's Willamette Park on Saturday, Sept. 25.

According to Building Bridges, the fair will focus on Black, Indigenous and people of color and Asian American and Pacific Islander cultures.

Building Bridges invited West Linn community members of these cultures to contact the group and set up a booth to share their businesses, food, music or stories.

During a West Linn City Council meeting, City Manager Jerry Gabrielatos said city staff recently met with the group to discuss the event. Gabrielatos told the council Building Bridges had invited councilors and community members to the event.

According to Gabriealatos, fair hours will likely be 1 to 5 p.m.

Building Bridges did not respond to a request for comment.
