Lake Run

The Lake Oswego Lake Run, which will include a 5-kilometer walk/run, a 10-kilometer run and a Kid's Dash, will take place 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at Millennium Plaza Park in Lake Oswego. Food, beer, games and vendors will be there too. For more information, visit lakeoswegolakerun.org.

Wilsonville arts festival

The Wilsonville Festival of the Arts will feature a series of events June 2-4 at Meridian United Church of Christ. The three-day showcase will include opening night Friday, June 2, a juried art exhibition and student art Friday June 3, and Saturday, June 4, and songwriters and poets June 4. Porchfest

Milwaukie's third-annual Porchfest will enliven front yards across the city for three Friday evenings this summer, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on July 15, 22 and 29. The Milwaukie Arts Committee, which organizes the series, provides a list and map of performances online at milwaukieporchfest.com.

Memorial Day event

The Korean War Veterans Association Oregon Trial Chapter will host a Memorial Day event at the Korean War Memorial in Wilsonville at 11 a.m. May 30. The memorial is located at Town Center Park, 29600 SW Park Place, Wilsonville, OR, 97070.

Oregon City car show

The Cruise-In Down By The Riverside car show will benefit Clackamas Community College scholarships on Saturday, June 18. Gates will open at 7 a.m. for participants. Cruise-in activities begin at 9 a.m., and the awards ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. at Clackamette Park in Oregon City. The event is free for spectators and costs $20 to register your vehicle for entry in award contests. Pre-registration: CascadePacificPlymouth.org.

Lakewood play

Lakewood Theater Company will perform the classic musical "Camelot" at various times from May 5 to June 12 at the theater in Lake Oswego. The story follows the love triangle of King Arthur, his new wife Guenevere and Lancelot, an ambitious man who sets off for Camelot to join the Round Table. Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Plant Sale

West Linn summer market

The Historic Willamette Main Street will kick off 4-8 p.m. May 25 on the Main Street portion of Willamette Falls Drive. The market will include local crafts, unique goods and may include fresh produce.

Mozart Madness

For classical music lovers, the Lake Grove Concert Series is holding "Mozart Madness" — which will include Lake Grove's Sanctuary Choir, guest soloists and an orchestra performing uplifting Mozart songs — at 7 p.m. June 4 and 6 p.m. June 5 at the Lake Grove Presbyterian Church in Lake Oswego. The concerts will be dedicated to the people of Ukraine.

Inviting Vines

Locals can tour the Rogers Clematis Collection in Lake Oswego 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 11. Along with garden tours, the event will include a box lunch special, wine tasting, docent tours, clematis sales and a silent auction. For more information, visit

Art Decked Out

The Lakewood Center for the Arts will host local artists Dave Haslett, Bernard Kliks and Susan McKinnon, who will showcase three different mediums in the Dee Denton Gallery 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 23. The artists will discuss their personal journey as well as their artistic process. The exhibition is also open for viewing through May 29.

Wilsonville Scouts BSA Troop 194/5194 is hosting its annual plant sale after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The sale is set to run from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at the Siemens Campus (old Mentor Graphics) near the baseball field, 8005 Boeckman Road, in Wilsonville.

Wilsonville dance

The Wilsonville Family Fairy Dance, which costs $20, will be held 7-9 p.m June 3-4 at the Stein Boozier Barn in Memorial Park. The event will feature a live DJ, photo booth, prize giveaway and snacks. Pre-registration is required.
