Betty Dorrian of West Linn, Oregon passed away peacefully on March 4, 2022 at the age of 91. Betty was born on July 27, 1930 in San Diego, California to Grace and Leo Dorrian.

An avid reader and writer, Betty began her career as a reading specialist, later assisting with the founding of Serendipity Center, a therapeutic school in Portland.

Betty was an adoring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by her children Belinda (Patrick) Sliger, David (Char) Marier, Amanda (Steve) Marier; her grandchildren Rachel (Ben) Sliger, Emily (Nathan) Wiese, Brett Sliger, Patrick Sliger; and her greatgrandchildren Carter and Lauren Wiese. She will be missed greatly by her loved ones.
