King will lead by example

In many ways, the pandemic has brought out our worst selves. It's left our community divided and distrustful. At times, I've nearly given up the hope that we'll ever be able to work together on the issues that affect us all. One bright spot amid the doubt is Chelsea King. Chelsea has led the effort to develop a Career and Technical High School and a K-12 Spanish-Immersion program and has advocated for policy and curriculum updates. This leading by example is just what we need in Salem. As the wife of a life-long educator, I strongly support Chelsea King to become the first state senator in our new District 13.
