West Linn leads 4-3 entering the seventh, but falls short in Firecracker finale

The West Linn baseball team had Perth right where it wanted it.

The Lions, facing the Australian team in the championship game of the Firecracker Classic at Lakeridge High School on Sunday, led the Aussies 4-3 entering the seventh inning and had J.K. Kelly on the mound.

But Perth took advantage of three West Linn errors, two walks and one hit to score twice in the seventh to win 5-4.

A big game like that deserves great photos, so here's a slideshow of the best images from Sunday's game. Click on the big "X" in the upper right-hand corner of the slideshow for fullscreen, then click through and click through again to pick out your favorites.
