The camp is segmented into two sessions, from June 24-27 and July 8-11, at WLHS

It's summer.

It's time for swimming pools and picnics and road trips.

In West Linn, it's also time for back cuts, offensive rebounds and crossover dribbles.

The annual West Linn Boys Basketball Camp is open to players in incoming grades 4-9 and is set for two sessions in June and July at West Linn High School.

The first session is set for June 24-27, with players in grades 7-9 participating from 9 a.m. to noon each day, and players in grades 4-6 participating from 1-3:30 p.m.

The cost is $100 for incoming ninth-graders and $150 for all others.

The second session is set for July 8-11, with players in grades 7-9 participating from 9 a.m. to noon each day, and players in grades 4-6 participating from 1-3:30 p.m.

The cost is $100 for incoming ninth-graders and $150 for all others.

All campers will receive a camp T-shirt, as well as instruction from West Linn boys basketball head coach Eric Viuhkola, his staff and current and former WLHS players.

Checks should be made out to "Lions Boys Basketball" and payments should be mailed to Viuhkola at 5464 West A Street, West Linn, 97068.
