Wilisonville Library shifts collections, boxing for storage, all in prep for remodeling project

Monday, Jan. 29 marked the official launch date for Wilsonville Public Library's remodeling project. While the library is expected to remain open most of its usual hours, some closures will occur and some areas are unavailable.

Adult nonfiction books have been placed in storage for the duration but staff will be on hand to help patrons find needed books from partner libraries to request.

The first phase of construction will impact the children's section; childrens' books are now located where adult nonfiction was previously. This phase is expected to last about a month. Library Services Manager Steven Engelfried scans the stacks of shelves that have been removed from the childrens area.
